Event Hours: Friday & Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (August 21–22). Trail rides operate on a first come, first served basis with no scheduled ride times.
Be the first guests to experience Tennessee's highest off-road trail during Ober the Top Off-Road . For two days only, trail-capable off-road vehicles can climb the Challenge Trail to the summit at 3,208 feet. The trail features a 562-foot elevation gain with optional obstacles for those seeking an extra challenge.
Enjoy live music, specialty food and beverages, and breathtaking mountain views throughout the event. Liquid Velvet performs Friday, and the Aaron Walker Band performs Saturday.
Trail Ride Pass Includes
- One trail ride per vehicle, including optional trail obstacles.
- Total trail distance: 1.6 miles (round-trip)
- Live music at the Base Lodge
Vehicle Requirements
- Full-size vehicles (Jeep, Bronco, 4-Runner, Land Rover, trucks, etc.) and SxSs welcome.
- Must have 4-wheel drive, be in low during the drive, and have at least 8" of ground clearance. Off-road tires recommended, minimum of ≥ 4/32" tread depth.
- Driver must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license
- Passenger must be 18+ and limit of two people total per vehicle (1 driver, 1 passenger).
- Vehicle must be street legal with valid insurance (driver must be policy holder).
- Vehicle must be driven onto the property − No trailered vehicles may be brought up.
- Any/all items in vehicle must be secured if vehicle doors are off or if vehicle doesn't have doors.
Please Note
- Trail Ride Passes are sold per vehicle.
- Advance online purchase is strongly recommended.
- Present your Print-at-home ticket to gain entry to the trail.
- Re-rides will be available for $15 per vehicle and may be purchased onsite at the ticket booth or by scanning the QR code located at the trail entrance.
- Trail rides operate on a first come, first served basis. No scheduled ride times are assigned.
- Outdoor operations are weather dependent.
- Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be rescheduled. No refunds due to weather.

A signed waiver is required to particpate. To avoid delays at check-in, we strongly recommend completing all waivers prior to arrival. Tickets cannot be printed or scanned until all required waivers have been completed.
- Vehicle requirements are subject to inspection. Ober Gatlinburg reserves the right to refuse any vehicle that does not meet minimum safety requirements.
- Please review our Operating Hours prior to your visit, as hours are subject to change due to weather or operational needs.
